Oftentimes in life, we stand at a crossroad where we are asked to make a choice. More often than not, we chose a road where we see footsteps that we can follow. This road assures us that someone has traveled there before us. It gives us a feeling of comfort and security. However, we realize later, that though the road is familiar, we do not find peace and deep feeling of joy. Then we find ourselves standing at another crossroad again…

I always believe of treading on a road that is set for me. It might not show me footprints to guarantee that someone has been there. I might have to create my own foot prints and leave it behind. There is only one thing I am sure of when I tread this less traveled road- I am not alone! Someone greater than I am will meet me where I am and walk with me and accompany me in my journey– My Kauban (companion). It is a walk of trust.

As I walk this road, I become aware that there are signposts and road signs that serve as my guide. It’s also amazing to discover gifts of persons wrapped so differently who are destined to travel with me and empower me to go on and help me become the person God has destined me to be.
