It’s not long ago since Android war started in the Philippines with our local home grown companies. We can say that Cherry Mobile is on top when it comes to number of Android devices released in the market. But, My|Phone is on top when it comes to price and specs.
My|Phone just released their new addition to its “Agua Series” devices, the Iceberg Mini, a phone that makes you want one when someone speaks of its, specs, design and price. The My|Phone Iceberg Mini is more expensive from its predecessor but the pricing is just reasonable because of its added features and specs. The new Iceberg Mini has a “Turbo” version of the Mediatek MT6589 mobile CPU (MT6598T). The Iceberg Mini has more RAM and has better camera. Also, the Iceberg Mini is not so mini with the 5-inch display compared to the original Iceberg with 5.7 inch display.
Now, the not so downside of the Iceberg Mini. Just like its big brother, Iceberg, the Iceberg Mini has no microSD slot. This phone still has no LTE radio nor antenna built in to it. But, if you are contented with HSPA+ mobile data speeds and USB OTG, then this will suit you.
